Thanks to Karl I have little loaner dell, to write on and play with. Thanks to him I have the knowledge of how to acquire Jdownloader. Thanks to Jdownloader I am able to access YouTube and acquire what I want. This had led me to acquiring a series of audio books, 'After It Happened', which I quickly learned to enjoy, as much as I had, 'Adrians Undead Diary'.

My audio's have been a real tonic, during this lockdown, so in a fashion I'm even more thankful, for the ability to acquire 'After It Happened', which I'd very quickly found captivating.

Since the lockdown regulations have been lessened I've noticed more traffic on the roads, which I've found difficult to understand. There's little reason for it, yet there it is. It is happening. And then there's the idiots who picnic on the beach, with others nearby; leaving a lot of rubbish around.

Dad and I took the opportunity of good weather to trim the overgrown privet hedge outfront the bungalow, working together as a team; almost like a bonding experience; which I took advantage of, as we do it so often.

Come Tuesday I had risen late, then entered the kitchen, to sit with the phone, to sit and take care of phonecalls that needed to be made: to the tv licence people, After seeing to the tv licencing for Dad, as he's over 75 and now needs to pay; finding his free licence had been extended till July 31st I'd then made more enquires about payment and address, until I'd been finally satisfied.

Then I'd contacted the doctor for Dad and myself, after which I'd rung the dentist, to make an appointment, for an extraction. “We'll ring the day before, for triage...” I'd been told, thankful I'd got the apppointment at all.

I'd then returned to my room and returned to the story I'd been listening to.

I went to the CoOp, for a blueberries and like a lot of stores, it is currently one way only: and generally it is obeyed. Except, come lunch-time and fellows coming in for the sandwiches, or other edible comestibles and then they simply ignore the one way. The others who flout the system, regularly it seems, is little old ladies. Well, to be more accurate, those who seem just not to be wholly there, for one reason or another.

It was on my way home, making a point okeeping my distance from people that I'd noticed something that had me smirking and, still does as I type. The weather pleasant and my bag heavy enough to straighten my poasture I'd felt good.

I'd avoided many on my walk, being polite to those that came toward me. Almost all would smile as we passed one another, except for the occasional jogger. As I'd neared home, three yeah-but, no-but's, walked toward me, one of them pushing a pram. None of them had smiled or thank me, for standing aside and, their gaze was drawn to the prettiest little-thing across the road, walking fast. The girl of fourteen or fifteen had bright blonde hair and a perfect figure, within a brief top and pink stretch leggings.
All three chavs had been evidently been comparing themselves with the teen, their jealousy evident on their faces. So, I'd briefly done the same, marvelling at the idea that it was like three very distorted mirror images...

I got to see my dentist, on a sunny Monday, during which we decided not to do the housework, It had been a tad surreal. I'd waited to go in, which hadn't been a bad thing, as it was sunny and quite pleasant. When I'd eventually been called in, it had been to somewhat of strange experience: handgel and your possesons on a box, while you were wuestioned about medical history. And, that's where I had a problem of course, as due to my copd, I'm classed as 'extremely vulneravle', so then I'd have to fill out another pertinent questionaire. Then, I'd been asked to use a mouthwash, then pull on a pair of blue-slip on gloves, that I'd not found easy to put on, at all. I'd then begin filling in forms, sent in to the dentist to answer more questions, only to be told the dentist, under current circumstances, it might not be advisable to extract offenind roos, due to my health conditions. “If it causes pain, do let us know,” he had added.
I'd then divested myself of the pellet, needing to remove it,ually irritatated.

Then on the Monday I diiscovered, to no surprise, that if one cuts at a hedge after doing houswork, you'll be knackered, beyond belief and, so it had been.

Yet, I had eaten, knowing damn well I'd probably not want to...

I'm not happy about the government deciding to lessen the rescrictions on the social distancing, as its left me feeling wary about going out, to the local shops. It's also irksome, when some people cannot obey a simple instruction like instruction, to walk one way.

I mean, it's a simple thing to do, walk one way – yet they don't, obsessed as they are with their own preoccocpations. And then, they turn and face me, and right now that is fraggin irksome, indeed.

* * *

And, it's taken me ages to get my head around what happened: Hindsight is such a damn familiar and wonderful way of displaying Life.

I'd had two nights of no sleep, due to the humidity... and, during this time, I realised my friends girlfriend has played a blinder: and, I no longer have Karl as a friend.

It had taken awhile to realise what had happened... there had been the return of the laptops he had been going to fix for me; and the machine he 'loaned' me, to shut me up, from asking about asking for my laptops to be fixed.

Then there'd been the lack of responses to my emails, with an eventual, “I'm fine.”

I'd even phoned at one point, to listen to him shut me up me up quickly saying simply to me, “I'm at work.”

It's been obvious to me for awhile, Karl's lady wanted him to herself and now, it would seem that she has got exactly what she wanted.

And then, I'd recived four emails, from my brother in New Zealand that distacted me somewhat indeed...

It seemed that he believed I was in charge of my fathers finances. He also wanted to borrow money, much as he has before and, not paid back, which had caused my father annoyance.

The first enail had been a serious case of emotional blackmail, The second had been literally blackmail and, the the last two had been truly threatening and, they had been disconcerting indeed.

Meanwhile, Boris Johnson is lessesning the lockdown restrictions while people are dying. To me, that economy over compassion, for human life. Personally, I'd prefer it if people would abide by social distancing, as a matter of course; yet so few actually do so, it seems to me...

And that's it...
